How to invite a team member

You can invite teammates to your workspace by email, assigning them a role that controls what they can access.

Use this when adding a new employee or collaborator to your DevSphere OS workspace.

#Step by step

Open the team or users area

Go to the team management area of the app.

Send an invitation

Enter the person's email and choose the role they should have.

Confirm the invite

Send the invitation; the person receives an email to join.

Wait for them to accept

They activate their account from the invitation email.

What you should see

The invited person receives an email, activates their account, and appears in your team with the role you assigned.

#Common mistakes

  • Assigning a higher-privilege role than the person needs.
  • Mistyping the invitee's email address.
