How to sign out of all devices
You can sign out of every active session at once, which is useful if you suspect your account was accessed from a device you no longer control.
#When to use this
Use this after losing a device, sharing access by mistake, or any time you want to force a fresh sign-in everywhere.
#Step by step
1
Open account settings
Go to Settings and find the sign-out-everywhere option.
2
Sign out of all devices
Confirm the action to end all active sessions.
3
Sign back in
Sign in again on the devices you still use.
#Expected result
What you should see
Every session is ended and each device must sign in again with your password (and 2FA if enabled).
#Common mistakes
- Forgetting you will need to sign in again on your own devices.
- Not changing your password if you suspect it was compromised.
#Troubleshooting
| If this happens | Try this |
|---|---|
| I am still signed in somewhere | Repeat the action, then change your password to be certain. |
#Best practices
- Change your password and enable 2FA after signing out everywhere.
- Use this immediately if a device is lost or stolen.
